About 5 years ago, a group of us began taking part in yearly excursion
through Algonquin Park. The name Pirates of
Algonquin Park arose from one such excursions courtesy of one member
in particular who began talking like an old sea captain which ended up
lasting the duration of the trip (there is a rumor that states this may
have been alcohol induced). Regardless, the name has stuck and Ye
Ole Sea Captain appears at least once during every adventure to bequeath
us with his advice and wisdom. Under the Excursions section of this
site is a recount of our most current escapade in the park along with
some of the pictures taken. I will eventually add the previous
trips...enjoy. |
